Thanks...yep SP's are nice boats, the 28' feels & rides much larger than it is and the 10'6" beam on this size boat will certainly spoil you!

Oh...Go Dawgs!

Were you on this down at the WMO weigh in's? I saw one floating around there on Tuesday.

Yep, I cruised by one time...I just tried to stay out of the way, as it's gets a little tight back there when those bigger SF boats start stacking up waiting to weigh in!

This is an impressive boat. I have ridden / driven a 28 Southport on charter in Nantucket. I have ridden it through 6 foot surf and swells - we were hitting bonito! Normally would never want to be on a boat through breaking 6 ft waves, but this boat instilled confidence and repeatability (Captain was also excellent!). Boat was solid. No torsion/flexing. The launch from drifting/casting to gunning up through the waves was also about as impressive as could be. Have to sell our family boat (18ft Whaler) before I am allowed to step up into a mid-20's boat, but maybe I will be allowed to tempt myself into a beauty like this! Good luck.

Hi Bud,
I am thinking of buying a boat in Florida 26 regulator with everything including trailer 57k. Could you give me the boat transport you used and if they shrinked wrapped it and cost.
Thanks
