will answer my question----- Pumps ---- fuel cell made since 2010 are not painted on inside everything else the same--- like I have said before ---- compare going 60 mph for 150 hours would only equal 9000 miles-- pumps in car last 130K or more---- the people would be screaming!!!! Volvo had recall on their cars for bad pumps
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have any answer for you as far as good will on a new part.

Here's a link for a low pressure pump I found today-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-Fuel-Pump-Volvo-Penta-1992-06-LOW-PRESSURE-/230807324704?pt=Boat_Parts_Accessories_Gear&hash=item35bd304820&vxp=mtr
The high pressure pumps are everywhere. I've got twin 5.0 osi-ef's and I think this pump might be my problem further diagnosis tomorrow.

crusier that pump will NOT work -- note there are NO double O ring on the ends of the Low Pressure pump------ they looks and most likely have the same guts ie motor however will not seal----- I am presently working on a substitue sleeve to use in the fuel cell inplace of the LP pump---going to call Airtext and see if them will sell an empty pump then will use an external LP pump to fill fuel cell and furnish fuel to the HP pump -- the enabling one to change the LP external pump and HP pump w/o removing the fuel cell-----note check your fuel pressure regualator it may be plugged-- also service bullintin ie removing filter screen on pressure regulator and replace w C Clip----futher note-- I only remove the bottom of the fuel cell thus no chance of screwing up the float----oil O rings a little when reinstalling-- NOTE:::!!! fuel MUST be primed before turning on power this will prevent a dry start which damages the pumps!!! Just my 2 cents worth
