I would like to get an autopilot with my new boat, but the prices were too high to get right away. I saw on BOE marine that the S1000 is a complete kit for less than $1000.

Anyone know if these work with the new C or E series? I looked through the manual for the new C125 and it appears that it will work...

I just read some of the info about this S1000 from Raymarine, and it appears it would do what I want, as far as features.

I know nothing about autopilots, I have never used one.

Any real world feedback is appreciated about using this autopilot with the new C or E series.

Yes, it is compatible with either series.
