Landed a 400lb plus Blue Marlin Aug 4th and a couple of yellowfin and dolphin. Great trip with good friends. We fished the canyons 80 miles south of Montauk.

I was there on 8/2 and 8/3 and there was essentially no Tuna bite to speak of. We caught a small Blue Marlin and a single 30lb Yellowfin, that's it.

We had one more nice yellowfin to the boat and another spit the hook. It was a hook up every 3 or 4 hours of trolling. No night bite. I haven't heard good things to date. We were just lucky to hook up on that marlin.
