MT Pockets is a Rugged sportfish and is a very economical to run. cruise at 18-20knts burning 13-14 gph@ 3000-3100rpm, top out at 24 knts @ 3650 rpm. I have owned MT Pockets since 1998 and she is a reliable boat. Just made a trip to the bahamas and this boat runs like clockwork. Run all day reliably and economicaly!
MT Pockets has been refurbed above and below decks using the best materials.
For example: Exhaust hoses replaced an spent $650 in T bolt hose clamps.
Electrical system upgraded: MT Pockets has 3 banks of batteries, 2 4D start batteries and 1 house bank, the house bank has 2 6 volt house batteries in series, and is wired to house panels.Battery switches enables you to select to start from any battery bank. A combiner allows the house bank to be charged by the altenators when the engine are running. When the engines are off the start batteries are isolated from the house bank so you can be assured of engines starting.
LOOK AT THE LISTING, have over $10K in Garmin electronics new last December.

I can't believe I haven't gotten any response. Does anyone like this boat? In the past 2 years $45k in upgrades. These diesels are bullet proof. Any comments?

I don't know if you're asking a question?
What this means is When your using your livewell pump, running the refrigerator, using the electronics etc, --- you will only be using the house battery bank, you will not be draining the start batteries, because the automatic charging relay "disconnects" the start battery bank from the house battery bank when your engines are not running. For example, when you're drift fishing.
When your running the engines and "charging," --the automatic charging relay will connect the house battery bank to the start battery bank so ALL the batteries are being charged.

Her decks, cockpit and helm area, hatches gunnel sides, fishbox have been awl gripped.

BRING OFFERS!!

Why by a boat that needs work? This Topaz has been upgraded ! You can not refit a boat for this asking price.. If your looking for a 29 Topaz for lets say $25K to $35k, let me tell you, it will need work and you would at least put $40K into her to do it right. Thats on the cheep side. I went through that. I am loosing money at the price I have it now. I know I won't get back for what I put in to it, but there has to be somebody who would appreciate this vessel.
