I have seen this boat for sale for some time now as I have been looking to perhaps purchase a 33 BF. Its been 125K for a while now down from 134K I believe. I dont knoiw what it is, but it seems that hardly any of the Blackfins are selling at this time. I keep seeing the same Blackfins on Yachtworld now that I saw a year ago. Although they are great boats, and have a great reputation, I dont believe they command the amount of money people are still asking for them......

Love the boat though and this one looks very clean!

On a different note, who finished this one as I believe the "original" Blackfin stopped in '98 or '97?

Blackfin did manufacture boats upto 2001 I beleive that was the last year, the hull molds are around still and some are being used, I beleive Salt Shaker used a few of their hulls past 2001.
the listing is a bit bunched up but there is quite a bit of information there, one engine was replaced the other seems to have been overhauled.
They are definetly one of the best sea boats ever built, he needs to add a bit more information and make the listing easier to follow, but if interested email him or give him a call, I don't think his price needs tobe criticized, a 2001 if super clean and updated , a asking price of $125k isn't out of line, they do eat alot of fuel, but if you fish where the seas can kick up bad you';d Thank God you have such a great rough water boat like the 33 Black fin is, and you can offer the guy whatever price you want, I think a 2001 33 BF is really clean in a terrible sellers market like this should still bring $100k to $115k depending on condition and all the details, 2001 with twin 420 hp engines I would guess are 3126 Cats which are solid engines. nice boat, ashame what fuel prices have done to the value of boats like this,.Hopefully they fix up the listing, anyone interested should ask him to make the listing clearer,

Beautiful boats. Been looking at some online. I have a question regarding the fuel burn, you stated they eat a lot fuel. i have heard fuel burn ratios for these motors is 18 to 22 gph at cruise, anyone with this model and engines know the actual fuel burn ratios?

realistic fuel burn on a 420hp diesel will be 16-18gph per engine

With 420 hp this boat will burn 32-36 gph
