I have to thank my fellow THT members for being so supportive of my business. I really do appreciate it !!
I'm hoping you can help me pick the best Web address for the online portion of my business.
As you know,I basically make whatever I sell. There really isn't any simple reselling, but I think I want to keep with the theme of only selling things that are made by me. (i.e. Ballyhoo Rigs, Chains, etc etc..)
So, moving forward, which of the 7 website choices best represent me, and also offer to gain interest in my products. Afterall, it is all about selling.

It looks like Offshore Angler is a registered trademark of BassPro, so it might be a good idea to stay away from that one.

I would keep canyon out of the name since only a small number of people would actually know what canyon fishing was. Keep it generic for all area's of the world. You will be surprised with the area's of the would you will ship to. BluewaterFishingTackle.com would be a good choice because it covers a wide variety.

I don't know. I think they all are missing the made by you component. If that's part of your brand and marketing strategy, I'd consider incorporating something personal (but not too personal) into it. Do you have a last name with a good ring to it? You've developed a reputation for quality here... Now you need to build on that and make sure we quickly associate that with you, not some generic sounding website. Just my humble opinion.

Blue water fishing tackle would give you the best keywords for google. They take your name very seriously when doing their rankings.

John there are many canyon this canyon that, and the same with all others that you have on your list above.. I would say get something original this way your not having other companies getting web hits and props off of your name and quality gear. It is hard to get a good one that is not taken. I just went through that with a new company I just started. Good luck and nice work

I say keep it short and sweet. If people have to remember a long name, or type it in, they'll remember something shorter. I run three online stores for my business, catered towards different crowds, and the shorter name seems to do much better when telling folks the name of that site at shows, etc..
