Boats For Sale and Wanted - WTB Twin Vee 26

Looking to buy a Twin Vee 26, 4-strokes only, and trailer. Any other catamaran that is offshore capable, but a 60-62 inch trolling motor will work on the bow. I have 2 boats, an offshore-25 Bertram w/twin 4cyl.I/O's, and an inshore boat-2008 Carolina Skiff SeaChaser Bayrunner 250LX w/225 Honda(50 hrs. 1 year of warranty). ive always been interested in this boat....what kind of numbers are you getting with 140's. always wanted to see one with a trolling motor

My 26' weekender with 140 Zuki 4 strokes gets 1.7 nautical mpg. I cruise at around 25 knots, will top out over 30. Sea-r-cy

I'd like to see one with trolling motor rigged to it also. You would need at elast a 101 lb thrust

I'm glad to see someone else thinking like me. I plan to buy a 22 Ocean Cat Twin Vee and put a 60" 101lb troll on it. I think it should work and then I would have a true "go anywhere fish anywhere" boat. There is a lot of bad press on the TV, but after owning a 20 Outrageous I am convienced it the the most fishable boat on the water. The flat casting deck at the bow is perfect for artificial casting in any kind of water conditions. Catch your limit of specs and reds in the am then go out 20-30 miles and get some snapper. What rig would do better? Want it sexy, paint it blue or yellow! I just want to catch fish!

I havea twin vee 26 center console with Suzuki 140 four strokes the engines just hit 500 hrs with no problems, I bought the boat new in 2006 and have done nothing but regular service, it has an incredible electronics package and tandem axel trailer. I am getting new uv coating on the floor in the next couple of weeks and then I will be ready to sell. This is a great boat that cruises at 30 mph and gets almost 3 mpg on good water, however my girls want more protection from the elements so we are looking at express cabins. This boat is in orange beach al if you would like to see her.

Ehhhhhh..... I don't know. I had a long term relationship with a 1999 that was a good friend of mines. It rode great....,,but..... It was constructed terribly. Ignoring the fact that we nearly sank 60 miles offshore because the year hatches weren't sealed. The entire liner pealed up. The fuel tanks would only yield 80% of their tankage, the console pulled up out of the floor and he ended up selling a 7 year old boat basically for scrap, and as he was having problems with a 4 year old boat and they kept telling him "well, you are the second owner"...,,I don't know. Take my stream of consiousness rant for what it is. I would not buy one.
