Hey guys i figured yhall would know the answer to my question.

I am in NC and i have been trying the kite fishing and i have lost a few fish by getting cut off.

How do you connect your wire to your 10 mono leader?

I was going to either use the albright or a small 35lb spro sweviel. what do yhall think?

I use 60# mono to albright

I use spro swivels with 3' of #6 wire leader because most of the time when a king hits a kite bait it skies on it. It's very easy to see the wire and keep it out of the water to keep it stealthy.

i use surflon wire that you can tie to the mono with a double uni knot. this wire is a lot more maleable than regular wire,

im not sure i would use that for high speed wahoo trolling, i prefer to use cable.

I still use cable on the cigar weights, i meant from the actual lure to the snap swivel that attaches to the cable on the cigar weights. It seems risky, but so far it has worked pretty good as long as the connection is good to the lure, i'm more of a slowspeed troller anyways...the good ol drag and snag has been producing for years.lol Speaking of wahoo, they should be around right now with the full moon!!!

Tyger wire will prevent cut-offs. Very light and you can tie any know you want with it.
