I have no idea whose boat or how it happened, but I saw this today in Dusenberry creek here in Key Largo.

Damn texting!

Looks very much salvageable as it just rode up on the vegetation.

that is the way a boat gets "parked" when it comes ashore with illegals...happens down here all the time.

Little off topic, but kind of related. If that was your boat and you left the boat unattended while trying to figure how to try and remove it yourself, could SeaTow, TowBoat or anyone else come along and start removing it and claim salvage? How long does the boat have to be left unattended, if it's not in imminent danger, before someone can try and salvage it?

Better get the boat out of the mangrove tree. I am sure it is a big fine. You cant cut them down around here they will fine you.

I've seen that boat many times at the sandbar here in Miami. Could've been a day at the tikki bar and well when you see 2 sets of mangroves this is what happens..... Gotta love the EVENRUDE decals.

I hear the steering on those "EVENRUDES" dont work too well... FWC will have his balls on a platter for creating that much damage to the mangroves. i hope he has a great lawyer or some serious vaseline...

We saw that last Saturday night on the way back from dinner. No one was on board and the motors were in neutral so we figured injuries couldn't have been too bad. Called the Coast Guard to report it and they referred us to FWC and DEP. Never did find out what happened. Kinda scary seeing that at night.

When you don't put bottom paint on you hull and plan to stay in the water for a while that's the best way to store the boat, he most have gone out in his tender at the time the picture was taken. :jk:
