First, thank you for the advice in this topic: http://www.thehulltruth.com/marine-electronics-forum/440173-raymarine-spx-10-lowrance-hds-10-a.html#post4773483

now the connections are perfect!
now, however, activating the "overlay radar", on my HDS10, the overlap is not perfect .. In fact, the marks of the radar, do not fit the maps .. they are offset by several degrees..
autopilot and his compass, are perfectly calibrated..above all the degrees of the compass !!
how can I fix this?
Thanks :)

most rardars have a calibration of the heading line.

no (and i'm speaking from furuno experience), the heading line shown on the radar. furuno can come from the factory showing up to 180 degrees off. there is an electronic calibration in the setup menu that is used to calirate the radar so the radar in head's up mode is showing a target that is directly ahead as "heads up " on the radar screen

ok ! but I already tried this setting on my plotter and this is not the problem ...

do you have a heading sensor and is this calibrated?

This thread should help: http://www.thehulltruth.com/marine-electronics-forum/364634-finally-hds-8-radar-overlay.html

Also make 100% sure you have no metal or anything that will interfere with the rate compass. I had problems of alignment for a couple of trips before realizing tools were located in a drawer within 5-6 inches of the rate compass. I moved them and it's performed perfectly every since.

when I run the calibration of the autopilot with the boat, the values of its compass are different by only 2 degrees from the plotter ... on autopilot manual says that up to 15 degrees is ok and you can fix it by software, which I did, and now the degrees are the same...

I just calibrated my RC42 with my HDS-8 yesterday......

Under the system menu select "Device List" On the device list highlight the RC42 and select it. This will give you a screen to configure or calibrate the RC42. Select calibrate. It then tells you to do a 360 trying to maintain a rate of turn of around 3 degrees. The screen displays your rate of turn while the calibration is being done. You run the circle and it says "Calibration Complete". Done
......
Alan

I think this is the solution !!
