I recently purchased a boat with Model 1650 DF GPS and Model 1750 Radar. The previous owner never had the Icom VHF connected to the GPS which he did before my purchase. Two different NEMA cables were used and split for the VHF connection.

The problem is the radar does not Display the temp or the depth. All other GPS displays work. The NEMA colors from the GPS are Yellow, White, Black, Green and Bare. The NEMA colors to Radar are Yellow, White, Red, Black,Blue Green and Bare.

As per the "Input Sentences" from the radar operators manual says
Depth DPT>DBK>DBS>DBT and the water temp says MTW. I don't have a clue what all this means. Maybe nothing to me. I just want the Temp and Depth displayed.;?

I am confused. You mention you have a GPS and Radar then mention a VHF which was never connected to the GPS. Then you state the radar does not display depth and water temp. isn't that a function of the sonar? Do you have the transducer, where the water temp and depth sensors are, hooked up to the GPS?
