Hey Guys,

I have a Raymarine C90 W with Sonar/fishfinder, and I cant seem to get a signal and the screen has a NO DATA message. Its on a second hand boat i purchased so is possible its not functioning, or possible the problem has occured since ive had the boat and had some work completed.

Its set up with an Airmar transducer (thru hull), and i have inspected and unplugged/replugged this in.

the cable was unplugged once or twice while power was on, which i found out later that this could possibly damage something????

I have currently taken the radar dome off, but dont think this would effect the sonar???

I have checked all connections/cables and they appear to be in good condition and in the correct place.

Any advice on what the problem may be and how to fix it would be very much appreciated!

I did look on the menu and there is a self diagnostic funtion and a factory reset, but didnt want to go in there pressing and resetting if i dont really know what im doing in case i stuff something else up!

Thanks in advance,

matty

No Data means your FF module, probably a DSM30, is not working. First confirm it is connected, then watch the status light on it. It will tell you what is wrong in most cases.
