Just found out I have to meet someone in Ashland VA tomorrow at 10 am
What's the best way from Kent at that time?I'm actually coming from De down 301...should I stay on 301 all the way to 95?

301 to 95 is the way to go
I travel that route frequently and all of the 95 traffic is heading north. I make it from Kent Island to Ashland in about 2hrs 15min. It takes about an hour to get to the Woodrow Wilson bridge via 295 off of 50. After that you can fly.

I live 2 miles from Ashland.......no traffic issues anywhere near the area of you travels on this end.
I would take 301 over the Harry Nice Bridge (stick to 301). Then cut over to Ashland on country roads or around Richmond on 295.

You can take 54 from 301 to Ashland at Hanover but be aware there is about 3 miles or repaving going on that is 1 lane only for a ways. I went through there today.
