I wanted to see if anyone has tried the Phenix hybrid rods for bottom fishing. I was considering trying one over a terez rod, but I wanted to see if they are worth the extra money.

Hell yes! Phenix Black Diamond Hybrids are an excellent choice!!!! Love mine for grouper fishing.

I just sold 2 Terez 7 foot rods and went with Phenix Black Diamond Hybrids. Construction looks to be quite better. Love the Alps reel seats. I hope to use them this weekend.
