Any sugestions for courtesy LED lighting and in storage box lighting in my CC Bay Boat I am building? I purchased some LED's for Spreader mounting but want something softer to light up the walking areas and dry storage/ice chest/bait wells!

Hella Marine makes some nice lights. These are what I replaced the old incandescents with on my boat.

You can find them at widely different pricing and in any color. I used amber. White, black or chrome color ring is available.

Will these work mounted outside, my boat is a center console and was hopping to use them for indirect lighting in several places?

Yes, I have about a dozen on my boat.

Yes, they are totally sealed and waterproof. I have them in my cockpit where they get wet constantly.

LED "tape" lights.....

Check out from MBMarine, CoastalNightLights, Bumster or others here on THT.... Chris at Coastal has 1' strips ready to go - work great for light in an e-box, secured in a bilge or a rod locker or the like...

Or go with tape lights and cut to your needed length, solder on the leads and Light It Up!
