I get tons of blues at great point and at the Bonita bar but I want to get some Stripers. Anyone have any suggestions for places to go? I was thinking about trying old man shoal but I'm open to any advise.

Also if I troll the rip for them is there any tackle that's better then others. For blues I usually just troll pearl bombers. Would that work for the Stripers too?

Thanks for all suggestions.

My son did pretty good down toward Sankety last weekend. You need to find some colder water, try the rips a little further East and go deeper.
Wire line is the key to getting deeper and working the rips and bottom.

Yz, headed for blues at great point tomorrow, but would like to get more adventurous later this week, maybe the Bonita bar, any luck with the stripers recently close in around Nantucket?

Years ago a friend of mines used to fish the short su mer white marlin bite with live scup[I think they were called porgies down here in sj}. The bite was pretty good butn not well publicized. Also was not a cheap place to go$ and the fog was bad.
