Other than the shuttles (I'll miss one and don't want to sit in FLL for 2 hrs), does anyone here use a car service from FLL to the Keys or know of a good one? Thx...

One way car rental is sometimes cheaper. And always more convenient than keys shuttle. I normaly use avis.

Flight is probably cheaper than a car service. A quick check on orbitz shows FLL to EYW is $102.

I am flying one way FLL to Key West Saturday for 50.85. I bought tix on Friday i think.

For those coming to the Keys, especially the lower and middle Keys, who don't like the Miami airport, the shuttle flights from Miami to EYW are the way to go. Avoids all the worst stuff about MIA, including crowds, long lines, baggage handling, etc. We fly a lot and recommend it to all of our friends.

^^^Except when you fly into A and the EYW connection is clear across the entire airport and downstairs. I always love that sign that says, "Walking time is approximately 30 minutes!"
