I'm trying to plan a trip from Miami leaving on the 27th and ending up in Bimini/the gingrrbreads on 8-1 for the opening day of lobster season. I'd love to catch some yellowfins and get a shot or two on a Marlin. I also want to hunt hogs and bugs. My initial thoughts are Miami - Lucaya- Chub/pocke, gingerbreads then to Bimini.
Anyone have any thoughts on where to go/dock, where/ how to fish?
Thanks in advance

R u gonna be driving around drunk? I'd clear in bimini run up to the tuna canyons dive gingerbreads stay at chub for the night. Do the opposite on the way back dive gingerbreads look for tuna in the afternoon go back to bimini. U can catch marlin right in front of bimini or u can go pay some big bucks to drag in front of chub.

Gingerbread grounds are about 40 miles north of Bimini and nearer the tuna fishing out of Lucaya/Freeport on the North side of the Bahama Bank. Chub Cay is at the South end of the Berry islands. The "pocket"at N W Channel Light is westerly from Chub with Nassau, Andros, and the Joltlers to the south and the South end of the Bahama Bank to the North. The Gingerbread grounds and Chub are not in close proximity so I just do not see diving the Gingerbreads and fishing Chub in the same day as practical. Chub is roughly 80 miles from Bimini in the opposite direction from Great Issiacs/Gingerbreads/ Lucaya/.
