Have a '93 21' Sea Cat. Bought it used with a trailer just hanging on. How bad was it? After deploying the boat for the first time 3 of the 4 bunk boards floated away. Luckily I had access to a lift close by.
Obviously need to redo this thing. The current configuration is such that there are bunk boards that run from the back of the trailer forward about 10 ft followed by rollers (3 consecutive almost touching)
Do I have to replace the rollers or can I just extend the bunks? The only potential rational I can think that would justify the rollers is that the front sections of my sponsons are very narrow and perhaps there is a concern with bunks separating. A few modifications - horizontal bracing between the bunk support brackets should eliminate that risk.
Comments would be much appreciated. Thanks!
