Buddy of mines had this sitting in his back yard for years. He made a really stupid bet, and now it belongs to me, Pretty good boat, however the floor needs to be redone. Its rotted to hell but still didn't stop me from taking it out one time before I start on this project.

He is not a big pool player, so we go out the other night and after a whole lot of drinks, he offers to play pool, If I won I took the boat, if he won, he would get some old rim that I had on my old car. Needless to say he lost.

Those old Sunskiffs were great....most of the ones sold around Orlando in that era had Chryslers and were sold by Bob's Boats and Motors...in fact I'm not sure how many other dealers Cobia had during that era

First pic looks like the Indian River.....

Okay guys after winning this boat in a bet, it sat in the back yard till about 2 months ago when I started to work on it. I think in 2 or 3 more weekends I will have it all come together and done!

Pul out those drywall screws and replace with stainless . They will eventually make their prescence known . Looks like a nice job you are doing , good little boats .

The screws will be replaced with SS ones. I used the drywall ones for my mock-up since the stainless tents to strip out easy.
