Yes....About 50 walkers try on Friday,Saturday and Sunday of the Fiesta. The 1st round no one is allowed to grab the flag for two reasons 1) This allows everyone to walk the pole and get a feel for it. 2) It smooths out the grease making it more difficult. The contest doesn't end until someone grabs the flag. The most rounds I can remember was 7 and it was getting pretty dark out by then!
