Nate you're going to need a skilled reel repairman that does a lot of work on plug reels. The real problem, though, will be finding someone that can get parts. I still have one customer that sends me 7000's to repair and I can never be sure that my wholesalers will be able to get parts.
To put it mildly I long ago pretty much gave up on that brand. If no parts are needed all you're dealing with is a bit of corrosion or lack of lube on the shifting system (that's where lots of experience on plug reels is a big plus). What I'd do is hit the phone and call every outfit near you that does reel repair and find one that still works on them. On your side of the state the first outfit I'd call is Dave's Parts and Service (they're one of my wholesalers for reel parts... and where I've gotten a few Ambassadeur parts in the past). Their number is (727) 942-9731.

yes, mike's is up in canada, but they do a ton of service work and have a pile of parts including older reels.
They have a nice online catalogue of parts too.
