Well after sitting at home waiting for the weather to co-operate and for someone to give me an invite to go fishing, finally got the call from my buddy Kenny with the intent to run out to the grounds and give em hell.
We met up in Cedar Key and launched Saturday morning, it was a quick ride out to the grounds with flat seas and his 32ft. Boston Whaler. The day bite was hit or miss with a few fish here and there with the sun beating us down, made a few moves and found a productive spot where the bite picked up. As the sun started down we decided to make a move south of our location and caught most of our fish and filled some of our limits.
Like to say thanks again to Kenny for the invite and a great time on the CEE STUD.
Heres a few pics, we got a 5 man limit in Gags and Red Snapper, 7 Red Grouper, 8 Mangs, 20 B-liners, scamp, flounder, and one of the biggest Porgies I've ever seen.
