Take a peek at Pier 37 as it might be worth the few extra miles over the bridge......

I am at Pier 37 and find them fast and friendly. Not cheap. Nothing in Falmouth is cheap...

A well run marina.

I'm at Onset Bay and love the service, people, etc. The guy who runs rack storage is super easy-going. You can call ahead but I never do. As soon as the head rack guy or one of his people see us walking in the parking lot, they put our boat in the water so by the time we get to the dock, we just jump on and get underway. When we come in, as soon as they see us, they run to the dock and help us hook up. I can't say enough good about the staff. If you want more info, feel free to PM me.

Have had a mooring in mattapoisett for 8 years, 6 years ago I broke my foot and couldn't get back and forth from the beach without getting my cast wet, so onset bay marina let me sign up for the rack service for a couple months until I got my cast off. Service was so good and staff was so knowledgeable (from the GM to the mechanic to the forklift operators) and fun to be around I never left. I couldn't be happier with the service there. Highly recommend.

Moby Dick is wonderful, but they do not launch mid week anymore. The owners are fan-freakin-tastic, and facility is great, and best of yet, hurricane protection. If you have a slip/rack there and a storm comes you get first right of refusal. only negative is that depending on the height of your boat, there is a swing bridge and it takes about 25 min to get to mouth of hurricane dike. but on a good note for the most part by the time you hit moby dick your running your boat in fresh water (tide dependat) and it gets a nice flushing, along with some PCB's. I recommend moby dick highly unless you want mid week launches. if so you can just leave in water for a few days.

Been at Onset bay for 14 years and there is no place better. No matter what the weather is you still can go boating/fishing .SE wind go through the canal and go to Cape Cod bay,Wind out of North go Buuzard bay and the Islands. Bad all around stay in the canal area and fish.Plenty of options. On top of the great service they keep the gas/fuel prices lower the everyone else.
