Before I got into boating for no particular reason I had always used Intellicast for weather. Here lately the wind forecasts have seemed to be a bit off and I'm wondering if there is a more accurate site or if they are all going to be hit or miss. I'm in Morehead City.

Today's wind forecast from Intellicast is 20-30 out of the SW, from Weatherunderground it says 10-15. Those are two very different days.

weather.com has it at 20-30

Accuweather says 14 with gusts to 19

What do you guys use?

I use sailflow.com. It is wind forecast only. It has always been pretty spot on. Really great site. It is a non-NOAA forecast. I then compare that to reefcast using sailflow as my baseline.

Buoy weather. Click on the spot on the map where you plan to fish for a free two day forecast for that area, or you can get a paid subscription that will give you a much longer forecast window. Almost all the guys up here in the Mid-Atlantic area use it, it's usually pretty accurate.
