The old 2004 Nissan titan I have now goes into my company's fleet of other old trucks. I wound up buying a 2012 Dodge laramie crew cab hemi 2wd loaded. I really wanted a ford crew cab but 2 ford dealers one here in stuart and the other in West Palm would not deal with my price as I was paying cash for the truck. I notice when you pay cash you take away all the dealers little tricks. It was fairly painless but still wasted a half a day.
Going to pick up my truck today:thumbsup:

Good luck with the new truck. I have the Hemi in my challenger and it is a beast of an engine.

Very happy with my 2011. Make sure there are no outstanding recalls on your '12, there were a few on the 11 that may or may not apply.

There's also an update out there for the uconnect module in case you happen to have an iphone and want to stream music to it.

Great engine!

I have bought lots of vehicles all cash at the dealership. Most were financed, not through the dealer. As far as the dealer was concerned they were cash deals. What are you talking about the dealers would not deal for cash or by paying cash they can't use there little tricks?
Not sure about your ability to make a good deal.

I think what he meant was, dealers prefer factory finance to cash deals.

Aren't they offering the 0% financing any longer? When bought mine in March GMC was. I thought Ford and Dodge were too. Could be wrong.

Good luck with the truck. I waited too long to upgrade.

I picked up the truck on saturday. I instructed the dealer to have all the paper work ready on saturday and of course they didn't took em and hour and half to get the paper work sorted out. I can buy an entire IDF main frame computer rack including the the rack servers VM ware software in 15 mins on line, I am like WTF its just a truck. The dealership purchasing process in very antiquated in my view.
That being said I really like the Ram 1500 larime lots of good options and and a smooth ride average 18/19 mpg on the way from fla to ind for a project
