Boating How-To’s - Repainting the bottom of the Hull (with pics)

Hi Guys,

I used a Power Washer with a high preasure rotating nozzle to blow of some bottom paint. I purchased the boat used, so I have no idea what type of paint was on it before.

Should I sand it down to the bare gel coat before applying any more paint or should I just rough it up..... and make sure the hull is clean? :banghead:

I am wondering what type of paint I should be using to continue from here on. I plan to keep it on a trailer. :banghead:
