Sites like fuelly.com are good places to look. You just need to weed through the people that are not tracking their mileage correctly. Some people are really good about putting notes in that indicate the type of driving they were doing for that particular fill up.

I have a 2011 and average 14 MPG all around. That is driving fast then stop and go traffic to boston.

I have seen close to 16 driving normal and minimal traffic.

About 15-16 normal. I did a long drive last week, and averaged 19.2 hwy and that was doing about 80-82 average but I have a diesel. The V-10's are excellent motors but horrible milage

I waited to post until I had recent numbers, so here is what I found.

2011 f250 four door king ranch with 6.2 l gas motor 3.73 gears and 5,600 actual miles

2006 hydra sports 2500vx with twin yamaha f250's and 100 gal of fuel approx weight 9,000 lb

Towed from se Mich to my slip in nw Mich total of 275 miles
110 miles two lane roads at 55-60 mph
165 miles of highway at speeds of 63-68 mph
towing up to slip 8.6 mpg
driving home empty at 62 on two lane, 73 on highway (gps) 16.6 mpg

16.6 empty? That's pretty good. It's about the same as my 06 F150 King Ranch with the 5.4L. Yours is a heavier truck and a bigger motor.

Harley, the 6 speed trans really helps especially when you just ease into the go pedal. Traffic was light that day also, so there was no stop and go. Around town I average in the 13's.

I have over 52,000 miles on my 2011 F250 crew cab, long bed lariet with the 6.2L gas motor and the 3.73 rear. Mixed driving empty 14-14.5 mpg. I tow my 29' Sea Vee approximately 10,000 miles per year and and mileage varies from 7.8 mpg to 8.5 mpg depending on traffic and speed. I typically tow at 65 - 70 mph. Is a great truck.
