I just got a new fixer upper with a chrystler 318 in it. The engine is freshwater cooled.
The raw water side of things is fine there is good flow from the intake through the impeller and out the risers/exhaust. My block is overheating. The antifreeze hose from the heatexchanger to the thermostat has no pressure. I plan on doing the following but any advise or expierence with this issue would be great.
1. Remove thermostat run engine see if there is flow.
2. Remove heat exchanger clean reistall.
3. Circulating pump removal but i hope it is not that.
Thanks
