Hi everyone,

I posted an earlier thread seeing if anyone could recommend a fishing charter in the Freeport or Galveston, TX area. Any recommendations?? I am looking to charter a full day boat with my buddy to go offshore and hopefully get the tail end of the Red Snapper season. Looking to charter something in the range of a 30ft cc. It looks like a lot of the boats in the area are cc's. May only be 2 of us, so don't need the 50ft. Bertram, but willing to invest some decent $$ for a great day and an even better guide! The date would most likely be Wednesday, July 11th. Keep me posted...

I'm visiting from So. Cal., so any local help would be appreciated!!!

there is an outfit called Cowboy Charters that gets a lot of good reviews.
Try posting on the Bluewater forum of 2coolfishing. You will get a lot of recommendations. Deeper water is closer out of Freeport.
