I have an all Garmin electronics package (5212, GHP10, 24HD, GSD 22, VHF200 etc) with gremlins. I've never been able to get the GHP10 to work well, and yesterday it first told me it lost connection to the heading sensor, then it quit altogether leaving a blank screen. I may have other Garmin issues as well. I downloaded the new software package successfully a few weeks ago, so I think I'm current with software.
Is there a good Garmin tech that I could get to come to Ryder's Cove and get me squared away ?

Don't know if Land and Sea still does it, but I know Young's out of Hyannis can.

When John and Dave were around I used Land and Sea for all my electronics work, and they were great, but I don't think the shop will do any Garmin work, and I understand. I may go back to Young's, who did the install of the GHP10, but I'm hoping there is a Garmin specialist on the Cape. Thanks.

Your ghp 10 might be defective. I had an issue with my black box sounder which was causing the whole system to crash. I had it replaced and the problem was solved.
