Hey everyone, can you post pictures of your tri hulls that are outfitted for fishing? I'm thinking about getting one for fishing, and I wana see what people have done with theirs. (older tri hulls)

Our 1st boat when I was a kid was a 16' tri hull with a 70hp. It was an ugly gold colored pos.
A few yrs later we got a 19' V hull. We put some fish in that boat.:thumbsup:

True you can add stuff but..... I don't think 2k is going to buy you much of a rig. Much less one that i would trust to take me 30 miles from the dock. I know to each is own but honestly you need to save between 5-10k. I mean I have $2k in safety equipment alone(and that's not including a raft). I mean the cheapest thing about a boat is buying the damn thing. The expensive part is keeping it going. My advice is if 2k is all you have to spend ......put that $ in the bank and meet some new friends and help them with the gas bill

Not exactly what you are looking for, but here is a picture of a tri-hull I had as a teenager. The ad is from when I went off to college in 1978. It was purchased with lawn mowing money.
