Boat Lift Distributors, Inc. - Lift Options for Small, Lightweight Boat

Looking to buy my son a small, lightweight jon boat/skiff, and am looking for advice on a storage option...We're on a saltwater canal, and just had a new dock/lift installed, so my better half does not want to ruin the clean look of the new install with a davit or second boat lift...Not that alone, but I'm trying to stay within a strict budget...

I've considered a floating dock/lift, but they're as expensive as a regular lift, such as a TideTamer Swinger, plus I'm afraid it will make the boat an easy theft target. Our dock is well above the water at even high tide, and it's a precipitous drop at low tide.

Are there any options to consider that I may have overlooked?

There are several options out there but in order to keep it simply & economical we will need to customize something unique. Can you email me a picture of your dock so that I can get the wheels turning?
