Can anyone here give me some details on the boat in sites on Saranac Lake ?
Been camping on Lake George for a few years looking for a change. Saranac looks to be a little less populated and quieter. Can't seem to locate actual campsite details like if there are docks.

Saranac is lovely and quite a bit more isolated than Lake George. Used to be cohos camping only, no power boats. They should have all the info on their website.

Got my answers, called the ranger station. powerboats permitted without restriction. Three lakes connected via a lock system, primative campsites , no site docks.

Great area! I never camped there but my sister has a house in lake placid, every time we go we make our way over to saranac.
