I am thinking of a Geenoe for some exploring areas like everglades
and the ability to trailer it to unique places

Any thoughts on the Craft ?

I had a 16' Gheenoe with a 4 hp Suzuki back in the mid '80's when I live in Clearwater Fl. That things was great. The Suzuki had a built in 1/2 gallon gas tank and you could run that thing all day without refueling. We fish all around Tampa Bay flats in that boat and caught tons of reds, trout, tarpon, snook and flounder. Great boat, very stable, easy for two guys to lift over oyster beds to get to other areas to fish. Great for flats fishing.

Go to microskiffs.com and read. They are great boats and unbelievably stable. I just sold a 13 with a 4hp and if I were going to replace it I would go with a 15-16 with a larger motor.
