Hi y'all;
just bought a used McKee 17 with an '03 Suzuki 115 (4 st)
What is the reputation of this 115 Suzuki motor; reliability and performance wise? Good, bad?
My previous boat: GW 22 Seafarer w/225 Yamaha (thirsy)

Do a search on the 115 Suzuki and you'll get all kinds of response- all positive as I recall. I have one dressed as a Johnson and it's a great motor. Quiet, torquey and responsive. You won't go wrong with that motor IMO. Good luck with the new boat as I'm sure it's going to fly with that motor on it.
