Is there any real reason I shouldn't use a shimano cumara rod for saltwater inshore use? I know it's classified as a freshwater rod, but I've seen posts here and there of folks using them for bay and inshore use. Specifically the 6'8" spinning medium heavy model CUS68MH rated for line 8-14.

Just curious how to tell when the rod can be used for both.

** Never mind - I ordered a teramar rod instead.
