Does anyone know where I can get a ringed reel clamp for Shimano Talica 12 II reel ? I want to be able to attach a safety line to the rod and reel.

Look at Meltons
Meltons have one with harness lugs that you can use for a safety line.
I rigger my 12s with them.

I contacted Melton and they didn't have any. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I checked their catalogue and it looks like they dropped them
I got mine about 2 years ago

I've made a few in a pince with 300lb mono and a couple crimps. Worked fine.
Just a loop on one end over the clamp screw, then an open loop at the other end.

Ah yes. I saw that once. They used shrink wrap so that the crimps did not scratch the reels.

J&M tackle has them. I saw it in their catalog. I am in market for one for a 30w. I would assume it would fit a Talica 12.

The ring reel clamp for the Int 50 will not fit the Talica 12
