Has anyone established a second LCD Monitor for their NSE12? If so, what size? I am looking to add a second monitor so my passenger can view a duplicate of my NSE12 screen using the DVI out on the back of the NSE12 unit.
I am thinking a 10" LCD Monitor would be adequate. I have looked at 15" screens and they're just a little to big for the passenger side - or it would look seriously out of place not to mention hinder line of site for the passenger while motoring.

Make sure you use a monitor that can accept a 1024x768 resolution input via DVI. If the resolution of the monitor is not 1024x768, also make sure it will scale it or otherwise display it properly. (See the NSE Install Guide)
Where are you mounting this? On that SeaRunner? You'll probably want an IPX certified model for that location since it will be exposed to the elements, and some kind of daylight-readable display. Could get expensive, and it may be cheaper to just add a NSS7/8 on the passenger side.

If the second monitor was in a protected location, a surplus Toughbook high-nit monitor would work well.
They are occasionally available used or sometimes even new at very reasonable cost. They were intended to be used as police car displays with a trunk mounted CPU.
If you decide to consider that route, I can get you started.
