I just installed this equipment and I have some questions:
1- what type of fluid do you use in the tank for the transducer? Mineral oil, antifreeze, something else?
2- will some one walk me through the process of downloading and installing updates to my 5212?
3- Does anyone make a video going thru the functions on the 5212?
This is my first real electronics system on my boat and I'm struggling with the vocabulary/ terminology in the manual. Technology and I are still getting to know each other, SLOWLY
Thanks,
Bob

Bob,
Fill it with non toxic antifreeze...it is in the installations instructions. ..but kind of buried...

Call your local Ace Hdwr, 3 bucks for the pink RV antifreeze.
Home Depot in the plumbing aisle, located up high this time of year.
