I am trying to plan a trip by boat from Mobile to Apalachicola and am trying to find some hotels along the way that have boat docks, either on site or within a block or two. Does anyone have any suggestions in, say P'Cola beach, Destin, Panama City?

Take a look at ActiveCaptain.com. It's owner is a boater and all the ratings etc are provided by boaters. A great resource for trip planning. You want to go to the Guidebook. You will find NOAA charts with icons with all the facilities
