What goes.....er what doesn't go through peoples minds. There's that little voice in your head that's says this is not a good idea! I guess they don't listen to it.;?

What would you do if one of them were your child and you saw that.

A perfect example of peer pressure.

As long as we continue to protect the stupid, the stupid will continue to reproduce.

I like what Mardi said, "FT!!!!"

Yea and they really think they are doing something. Dumb and dumber and their dumber friends.

So a couple of them go over the edge. Then a half million dollars wasted on search and recovery.

No wonder we have high taxes.

Pop said: "50 percent of the people are dumber than a post". He was right.

The description on the video says that some tourists died a week before.

"There's your sign" comes to mind.

"He will have to explain to the American people why his vision for bigger government, more spending, and higher taxes will work over the next four years when it hasn't worked in the past three and a half years.” – Sen. Rob Portman on President Obama
======congressional inaction is a big part of the problem

That's no more dangerous than standing on the edge of a train platform, or crossing the street in downtown anywhere. After all, don't we spend half our lives three feet from death?

From the accent of the guide and the looks of the flora, it's Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Search and rescue? That's four guys in a canoe left over from colonial times. One to paddle, one to bail, one looking for pieces of dead tourons and the last guy to look out for crocs. And there are a LOT of crocs downstream of Vic falls. Lawsuits? If you can find an open courthouse and a sober lawyer, you'll be filing the first wrongful death lawsuit on the continent.

The guides are doing that for tips. When you make 100 bucks a month, there's not much you won't do to milk some fat yank for his 20-spot.

Yes but there is not a river pushing you off the train platform or into traffic! People die there because they underestimate the power of moving water. Or they are just stupid.

The Darwin award is a quest. They keep trying when they don't succeed.
