Looking to see if someone has a better way to keep the flat plug from coming out of the round/flat plug. For now I take wire and wrap it around both of them and it seems to work but, I thought someone would have a better solution.

And sometimes the trailer side flat four is worn.
If you look real close at the prongs, you can see that they are a piece of sheet metal rolled into a tube.
Use a nail or nail set, etc. and force it into the end of each prong.
Do it slightly and it will expand the prong and thus fit into the female half more securely.
You might even want to use a pair of pliers on the ground socket and ever so slightly squeeze it down smaller.
Just don't over do the above or the plugs won't go into each other.
