When running, fuel is pouring out of a little hole on the top starboard side of the carburator. The motor has not been run in a little over a year and while the fuel had been treated, the tank was emptied and fresh fuel was put into the tank. I'm sure old fuel remained in the carb bowls. The motor is an '05 and has 50 hours max on it. Any ideas for a fix would be appreciated. I will attempt to attach a picture - if it works, the fuel is coming from the hole the wire is touching.
I would take the carbs off, and have them thoroughly cleaned. If the float is not shutting, that can happen. The reason is doesn't shut/seal is from the needle/seat being bad, or their is some crud stuck in it.
