Want to buy a new gopro hero2 motorsports edition with a handlebar mount as well.

I have tried contacting Killer and Overslot but still waiting to hear, anyone got one to sell? I want it before I head on vacation this Saturday, so kind of a in hurry.

Thanks.

If you PM'd Craig...AKA Killer & Griller it may take him a while sometime to respond but it will be worth the wait.

I'll PM you his telephone number.

Over Slot Apparel, PM Josh and see what he can do for you. Craig is the man also. Can't go wrong with either guy and they will save you a lot of money.

I got the motorsports edition for the suction cup mounts and will add the handlebar mount as well, it will clamp around a tube up to an 1-1/4" in diameter. Thinking t-top tube or tube around console. I plan on doing similar things as you described as well as some other activities worth capturing.

Their is a Gopro thread in the outdoor photos thread here on THT that if you read may help you make a decision.

Got the same setup. Planning on using the handlebar mount on my gaff. There's a rollbar mount that looks good for mounting to my Ttop too. For underwater use, I'm probably gonna get the BlurFix too.

The handlebar mount for the gaff scares me, I picked up a tripod mount that screws into a pole from Captain Harry's - I figured with all the add on's I was already around $400 in what was another $60 bucks

Sad thing is its brand new and I have had it two months and haven't used it once, if I don't use it on this trip to the keys it may just go up for sale.

Nervous about the gaff too to be honest. Kinda partial to your idea now....

We should probably move this conversation to another thread... Save your money and use the gaff You can very easily rig up a safety lanyard from the camera to gaff. And if you think the whole gaff might be lost tie a float to the handle end, won't need to be big for an aluminum gaff.

Its your thread, so it's not like a typical hijack, but if you start a new one, I'll be there....

I actually just found an extendable painters handle for rollers in my office. Attached the camera onto it now to see if I like/trust the mount. Seems rock solid. Definitely will rig up a lanyard though.

Originally I was thinking of crimps and wire, drilling through the handle and attaching the lanyard that way. Realized this essentially makes it a permanent mount on the gaff though, so I may go with the painters stick. Also will require a second housing if I want to swim with the camera without the gaff/stick.

Just thought i would ad my input here, i used mine on the gaff all weekend long this past weekend, i just checked it periodically to make sure everything was tight. I even gaffed a few kings with it attached made for some pretty awesome video!

I usually don't gaff fish, but I'm tempted to this weekend....PM sent by the way on the BF. Here's the link again for others.
