I just un wrapped the boat and the cabin has mold in the carpet. What is the best way to get rid of it?

Use Roll Off. I use this for all mold on my fiberglass t-top and headliner. This stuff is great.

Tilex heavy duty (Home Depot) but make sure you test it in an inconspicuous area first.

Then, next season, increase the ventilation.

Do they both work on the carpet?

Roll Off works on almost everything including carpet, fiberglass, vinyl.

Tilex. Rolloff is an acid and I would be hesitant to put it on any carpet but I may be wrong.

has anyone ever tried it before?

Same problem on my Grady. I Googled it and found that vinegar or borax detergent work well for killing and washing away mold. On to eight ratio of bleach and water for fiberglass headliner walls and floors of cuddy.

Next year, before you seal it all up, spray Lysol spray all around. That will help. Spray it in all the nooks & crannies.

Must not only clean it, but must kill mold or it will return even if ventilated. As a few have said "check it on an inconspicuous place".

After you get it cleaned off real good from your surfaces....either purchase or rent an ozonator and stick it in the cabin on high power overnight. The ozone will permeate the carpet and kill all the spores. Just don't get in there while its running.

Is there a brand or size ozonator you recommend

go to an auto detailing shop and see if you can purchase some moldicide. It will both kill and prevent mold
