2012 Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic August 17-18th, 2012 presented by Hickory Bluff Marine and Contender Boats!

I just wanted to take the time to personally invite everyone on here to the event in August! Many people on here have either fished or heard about the Offshore Outlaws Fishing Club KMT for years now. I have had the pleasure to help run the tournament for about 4 or 5 years now and it has grown ever since then! This year the tournament has become a "Community Event" with the incredible help from both the Offshore Outlaws Fishing Club and the Fort McAllister Sportfishing Club! This year, I have the pleasure to sit on the board of committee members made up of other fishermen from both clubs to oversee the 2012 Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic, a Division 4 SKA sanctioned event! This is coming together for one incredible event all weekend long! I just wanted to give everyone a few early details of the tournament for your consideration to fish the event!

I fished the Outlaws Military Appreciation Tourney for the first time this past weekend and they did a superb job of hosting a tournament. If all things go well, I will plan on fishing this King tourney as well and look forward to fishing their future events!!....

1st Annual Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic Calcutta’s

There will be three separate Calcutta’s for the tournament so that entrants can participate at any level desired. The respective fees are $50, $100 and $250. (100% of all Calcutta entries paid out.)

$400.00 “All In” Calcutta **** Only “All In” Captains are entered into the Calcutta Only Costa Rica Trip including Airfare! (Example: If we have 25 boats in the High Rollers Calcutta, the most entries in the drawing for the Costa Rica Trip would be 25 if everyone came back to the scales and was present to win!)
This is in addition to the other trips that will be given away if you weigh a fish! Must be present to win!

All Calcutta’s are 2 Fish Agg!

Entry Level A $50.00 *100% Pay Back
1st) 60%
2nd) 25%
3rd) 15%

Entry Level B $100.00 *100% Pay Back
1st) 60%
2nd) 25%
3rd) 15 %

“High Rollers” Level Entry $250.00 *100% Pay Back
1st) 65%
2nd) 35%

These calcuttas will pay back some serious extra cash (100%)! We have kept the entry fee down and tried to give the fishermen the option of different levels and payouts!

Calcutta’s will be announced and published to all captains and crew before the captains meeting is over for everyone’s knowledge of who’s in each level!

If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to post them, email me or call anytime!

Hello to everyone;

We are excited to announce the 2012 - Premier Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic Tournament (CEKC) benefiting The Hospice of Savannah Organization. It is scheduled for August 17 & 18, 2012 and will be located at the Fort McAllister Marina in Richmond Hill, Georgia. The CEKC is hosted by the Fort McAllister Sport Fishing Club, The Offshore Outlaws Fishing Club, Fort McAllister Marina and Fish Tales Restaurant.

Our Committee would like to recognize Hickory Bluff Marine, Contender Boats, and Budweiser/Southern Eagle Distributing. In addition, we would also like to thank all of our Sponsors and local supporters (names listed below). Our tournament would not be the event it has become without their support! THANK YOU!

This tournament will be sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA). For those of you who are not familiar with the SKA, they are the "largest saltwater tournament trail in the world" including a Pro-Tour. The SKA is a well renowned organization committed to providing fun and family oriented events and they are ecstatic about our upcoming tournament!

Here's what the SKA had to say about the 2012 - Premier Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic Tournament -

The Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) is proud to announce the addition of the Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic tournament to the Division 4 schedule, which includes the Georgia coastline. "We are proud to add this tournament to the other four and know tournament fisher people are excited also," said SKA co-founder and managing partner Jack Holmes. "Georgia events came on board with us in '91 and most of them are still with us today. We have a lot of SKA tournament fisher people who live in this area and fought hard to get an event in their back yard. This may just be the best event in the Georgia division. We know that a lot of effort has gone into the planning. We're really excited."

For more information on the SKA and its tournament schedule, visit www.fishska.com.

The tournament is now just 2 short weeks away and the hype is up! Our Tournament Committee is committed to ‘giving back’…meaning we are paying out 100% of the Entry Fees and the Calcutta’s will be 100% payback as well! This year’s tournament has a First Place of $10,000 Cash Guaranteed plus prizes, while First Place in the small boat class is a 2012 AlumaCraft Boat, Motor and Trailer package, valued at $7,000! Once again, it’s because of our generous Sponsors that we were able to make this possible! The Tournament Committee has worked vigorously to ensure the CEKC will not only be a family and community event, but bring fishing back to the Coastal Empire!!! The Early Entry Fee is $250 is received by August 8, 2012 and $300 thereafter. Get your entry forms in now and save $50.00!!!

Tournament Mailers will be mailed out late next week to Anglers from North Carolina to Texas, so keep an eye on your mailbox! If you don’t receive one and would like to be added to the mailing list, please let us know. We’ll be glad to get you one!!! A committee member can also email you an entry form in order to get in in early!

We have some exciting events planned for this tournament and hope that you will join us in celebrating a wonderful day of Family Fun, Fabulous Food, Live Entertainment, Live Radio Broadcasting, Special Guest Speakers, Vendor Booths, a spectacular Fireworks Show on the River choreographed with music from Kix 96.5, and of course…fishing!

The Coastal Empire Kingfish Classic Committee personally invites you to consider this tournament for your fishing schedule! Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you know who may be interested as well as placing flyers in your office or place of business. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the committee members below. For more information, visit www.coastalempirekingfishclassic.com

Wishing you the best as we keep the Coastal Empire fishing…

We are honored to have you coming up for the event! I think it will be a great event and I really think you will need some extra bags for sale when you come up! We have a lot of blue water fishermen in the area that makes 80+ mile runs that always needs an extra bag! I hope you sell completely out! Stay the weekend with us, Saturday evening events should be a good time!
