I have yet to get out on the water this year. I dropped my boat off the 2nd week of april to my dealer for some reqular service and a couple small repairs. I still have not gotten it back.
Is their anything left to the spring bite around the upper cape left? I am hearing reports the macks have moved away and I don't have my seasons worth of bait yet...
Can't tell you guys how disappointed I am. I haven't even been able to do my normal spring rutine to get the boat ready for the season yet. As soon as I took the cover off in April I brought it to them. I still have a bunch of stuff I had planned to do my self still to do too.
I only just upgrade to this boat last year to boot. I have been waiting all winter to get back on the water with it.....:banghead:

I feel for you man. Only been out once myself fishing with my new sled this year. This weekend the wife is working so I'm on daddy duty full time to boot. I've never fished for macs so I don't feel that pain, but the bite off Billingsgate is retarded right now, and I'm not getting into it.
Good luck with getting your boat back. You wouldn't by chance have it at the old HS dealer who now sells SH's would you?

Can't speak for the crazy volume of macs I heard of earlier, but had no problem getting what we needed outside sesuit and barnst. this past weekend. All big too! Hope you get the boat back soon!

Based on his boat and the Etec power I would say Jzima has it exactly right as to the dealer. My guess would be he's servicing his customers of the current line he sells first and you're unfortunatley falling back in line.
Not looking to point fingers as to whom has it, just trying to releive some of my stress. Thanks for the support. Normaly I would have had all this done last fall and this wouldn't have been an issue, but it wasn't meant to be because of some personal issues. The good is they have started on it and I have high hopes of having it by the end of next week. They have always been good to me and this is the first time anything like this has happened.
