I just traded this boat toward my Ocean 55. It has been on this forum for a couple of months, but I now own her.
I have used her twice over the last week, and this boat is amazing, do not let the year on the HIN fool you. This boat is like a new boat with little wear, and tear. The boat is getting a complete detail this week inside,and out.
Here is the information that I got from the guy that traded it, and what he has done to it.
1992 Rabco RABCO 35',Over $100k was invested in a custom restoration of this beautiful boat.
In 2008 the floor, stringers and transom were replaced. The boat inside and out was painted in Awlgrip. Professionally rigged and wired.
She has twin 2008 Mercury 300hp Supercharged Verado 4strokes that are under FULL FACTORY WARRANTY until 1/28/13. And can be extended one more year!!!
Two new KD lowers in August 2012, zero time on them, and 1 of the powerheads is brand new!
Has power steering, Zero effort throttles/shifters, large Mercury Racing K-planes and Bravo1 props lab finished.
We have seen 59mph on GPS. Boat runs 55 no matter how much fuel or people are on board.
Furuno GPS/bottom finder, large live well/leaning post combo with additional storage, rod holders, cup holders and footrest. Large coffin cooler box in front with massive storage compartment underneath. Newly added stainless windlass anchor.
Loud Infinity 5 speaker stereo with new Kicker Marine amplifier and new Clarion Cd player with Ipod control.
Aluminum trip axle trailer with aluminum wheels and diamondplate storage locker. In my eyes with boat is AMAZING.
It is very fuel efficient. This boat handles so well. Cut the steering wheel as hard as you can at full speed and it turns like it's on rails. It is so dry and cuts through big water with ease.
Old owner built it for SKA tournaments and to hold up in rough conditions.
